OMEGA Constellation Watches
Popular Used OMEGA Constellation Watches
The history of the Omega Constellation begins in 1948, the year of Omega’s 100th anniversary. To celebrate, they created a watch called the Century in a limited edition of 6000 pieces. This watch became the inspiration for the Constellation collection, which made its debut in 1952. The models were once the flagship of the Omega brand. Today, they continue to be characterized as a perfect marriage of form and function while models from the 50’s and 70’s are highly sought after by collectors.

About OMEGA Constellation Watches
When OMEGA created the Constellation in 1952, they focused its image on luxury, a quality for which the model is still known today. Until the late 1960s, the watch’s dial was shaped like an upside down pie-pan, which coined its nickname. This dial was actually named the 'douze pans' (twelve facets) and had a water-resistant case available in snap and screw back. Each watch displays an observatory symbol to represent its status as an Observatory-certified chronometer. Constellation chronometers in the 300, 500, 700, and 1000 series were originally created in-house by OMEGA and the movements are highly prized for their craftsmanship.
