About Rolex Datejust II Watches

The Datejust II features an Oyster bracelet, lume on its dial, and the iconic Oyster case, which offers a screw-down crown and water resistance up to 100 meters. However, it’s noticeably larger and more contemporary than its predecessor, the original Datejust, measuring 41mm. The hefty size allows for more space and better proportions between the Cyclops lens over the date, the hour markers, and the crown at the 12 o’clock position. The Datejust II also includes the brand’s signature Twinlock Winding Crown. This enhances the water resistance of the watch with two sealed zones.

The Datejust II is equipped with an upgraded and impressive movement: the new caliber 3136. The caliber 3136 is a self-winding mechanical movement developed in-house by Rolex, and - like all Rolex Perpetual movements - is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). The movement also features Rolex’s patented Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers.
